Read God’s Word

The original manuscripts of the Old and New Testaments were written in Hebrew (with a little Aramaic) and Greek, respectively. The New King James Version, King James Version, and English Standard Version are all accurate and faithful translations of the Holy Scriptures.
What Reformed and Presbyterian Believers Confess
The Westminster Confession of Faith was produced by a group of pastors and theologians in the 1640’s at the request of Parliament in England. It provides a faithful summary of the content of the Christian faith according to the Reformed tradition. The WCF was adopted with a few revisions by the Synod of New York and Philadelphia in 1788.
The Westminster Shorter Catechism was produced to train readers/hearers in the basic theological truths of the Holy Scriptures using a question-and-answer format. This version has Scripture references written out in full.
The Westminster Larger Catechism (WLC) addresses the same topics as the Westminster Shorter Catechism, but is designed to provide deeper instruction to those already acquainted with basic doctrine. This version has Scripture references written out in full.
